Joel Daly

Joel T. Daly is Of Counsel to the Law Offices of Edward Lichtenstein, P.C. Joel is a well-known Media Commentator in Chicago and presently is the Information Officer of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is also a Legal Analyst for WLS-TV (Channel 7) in Chicago.

Joel is a graduate of Yale University and in 1956 was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in English, Magna Cum Laude. Joel graduated with a JD, Order of the Coif from Chicago Kent College of Law in 1988 and has attended the Center for Dispute Resolution of DePaul Law School and received mediation training at the Center for Conflict Resolution.

Joel is admitted to practice in the following Courts:

Joel was an Associate with the firm Corboy & Demetrio, P.C., and is a certified Mediator, Arbitrator for the Cook County courts as well as serving as a Mediator for the Center for Conflict Resolution. Joel has taught Trial Advocacy at Chicago Kent College of Law and in seminars sponsored by the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Continuing Legal Education Programs, and American Bar Association. He has also served as a commercial flight and ground school instructor and has been a licensed pilot.

Joel served on the Board of Managers of the Chicago Bar Association, on the Board of Directors of the Center for Disability and Elder Law, and on the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Dispute Resolution.
